After achieving a top 1% score in Turkey's nationwide High School Placement Exam, I was motivated to take on new challenges. I chose Germany for my university education, attracted by its many opportunities in technology and innovation. Currently, I'm studying computer science at the University of Bremen, and I'll be writing my bachelor thesis next year. My interest in programming continues to grow, and I'm looking forward to improving my skills through practical experience.
My learning journey keeps moving forward, and I'm actively working with modern technologies like JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, React and Firebase.
Built a digital twin for our data science project for the GovTech course and additionally implemented different machine learning algorithms for the predictive maintenance of the wind turbines. I was one of the 3-person development team. We learned new technologies, such as Python, ML algorithms, Javascript libraries and React.
The "Tour of Heroes" project is a dynamic single-page application crafted with Angular and TypeScript. Created to demonstrate core features of Angular, this project showcases essential concepts like components, services, directives, and more. Users can explore a list of fictional heroes, view their details, and make real-time edits. Utilizing Angular's powerful data-binding and dependency injection, it allows seamless interaction with mock data.
The Angular Homes Project provides a comprehensive example of building an Angular application that lists and details houses for rent. Key aspects include creating standalone components, implementing inputs, utilizing Angular templates and handling data binding. Features covered in the project include property binding, interpolation, dynamic data display using ngFor, dependency injection, routing, connecting a details page and adding user forms. A unique aspect of this project is the addition of search functionality and the integration of HTTP with an API to simulate server communication.
Developed an Anki-like flashcards application for our Software Project course at the university. I was one of the 5-person development team. During the project, I had a opportunity to improve my Java, Git, SQL and Hibernate skills, building a database with a web server and a local storage. We got an A+.
Designed and implemented a landing page. It was one of the challanges that I made at the Odin Project Web Development course. I practiced my Flexbox, HTML and CSS skills to build and deploy a website. I also used and became comfortable with Linux (Ubuntu) and Git environments.
Built a chrome extension during my Scrimba Interactive Javascript course. I used Javascript, HTML and CSS to code this project and practiced eventListeners, template strings, DOM manipulation, local storage and JSON.parse() and JSON.stringify().
